Its objectives are to translate science into action, to build bridges between scientists, civil society and fruit and vegetable professionals, to popularise and communicate scientific data on fruits and vegetables and, finally, to collectively promote a healthy and sustainable diet. Aprifel has a governance structure that supports its actions, in which scientists, civil society and fruit and vegetable professionals are all represented. Aprifel has a Board of Directors that establishes the association’s main areas of focus, and its actions are implemented by permanent teams based on work carried out by the Scientific Council and the Consumer Council.
