Increasing access to healthy foods is one of many strategies that have been recommended by national authorities as a way to improve nutritional outcomes. Research has shown that the environments in which we live, learn, and work can influence an individual’s diet. Therefore, increasing the availability of fruits and vegetables (F/V) and decreasing the availability of unhealthy foods may facilitate healthy eating among individuals.
