Sommaire de l'article

Two novel cucurbitacins designated as neocucurbitacins A (1), possessing inhibitory activity of polyoma enhancer binding protein 2 alphaA (PEBP2 alphaA) and osteoclastogenesis-inhibitory factor (OCIF) gene expression in human osteoblast-like cells, and B (2) were isolated from the fruit of Luffa operculata. Their structures have been determined by extensive spectroscopic investigation.
